Transforming an industry
A few years back, a group of professional market researchers at Benchmark Research decided a new and better way was needed to collect and analyze survey results. Based on the fact that telephone and paper-based information gathering had become increasingly inefficient and time consuming, this new and better way had to be fast, efficient, and affordable; and not compromise the way survey data was presented or reported.
So with this in mind, InSite was designed and initially piloted in a wide variety of "real world" situations. Feedback to the system was positive, and after listening and learning from our customers on how they were using the system, it soon became clear - "Hey, I think we have something here!"
Today InSite Surveys is used in a variety of settings and continues to transform the way market surveys are conducted, analyzed, and reported. Some of InSite's customers include: Disney, NestléUSA, Fox News Media, LG Mobile Phones, and Via Rail Canada.
Technology development
InSite Survey Systems Ltd. is in the business of developing and marketing on-demand, Internet applications and providing supporting services to facilitate the implementation and use of these applications where required. Our premiere product offering, InSite Surveys, introduces an array of efficiencies to the survey process and is designed to allow our customers to take full control over their survey projects without the need or expense of a third-party service provider or third-party software.
By providing both technology and services, our customers can independently conduct online surveys using InSite. They can also conduct online surveys leveraging our market research experience and knowledge base. This unique mix of "technology" and "service" ensures that every customer has the tools and resources available to make their data collection projects successful.
InSite Surveys is built on the latest Microsoft Technology (including the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008) and is an end-to-end survey system that allows our customers to: 1) design sophisticated surveys, 2) dispatch these surveys through email invitations, 3) track "in-field" surveys and respondents and, 4) view real-time results directly from any web browser using a variety of integrated reporting and analysis tools.
Built from the ground up, we have applied software engineering best practices to the system architecture in order to deliver a completely platform-independent solution that achieves the best possible balance between scalability, flexibility, and functionality. InSite Surveys has also been designed to comply with the professional guidelines set forth by the American Market Research Association (AMRA) and the Market Intelligence Research Association (MIRA), formerly known as the Canadian Professional Market Research Society (CPRS).
It is important to note that we are developing and marketing on-demand Internet applications, NOT software. The Internet is the delivery mechanism of our technology and no executable file(s) are ever required to be shipped, downloaded, or installed on a user's computer. All our customers require to access our technology is an Internet connection, a user ID, and a password. The system is available 24/7. This is why we call our technology "on-demand".
Using the backbone of the Internet to deliver our technology provides us with a huge advantage in managing, maintaining, and overseeing how the system is being used as well as how it performs. By monitoring system usage in real-time, we are and being able to immediately respond to end-user needs as they arise. From a customer standpoint, managing, maintaining, and upgrading the application becomes hands-off and worry free.
